Elizabeth (Cameron Diaz) este o profesoare cu totul atipica: vorbeste urat, este nepoliticoasa, bea, se drogheaza si de abia asteapta sa se casatoreasca si sa scape de job-ul ei enervant. Dupa ce este parasita de logodnic, Elizabeth planuieste sa isi duca planul la capat si sa il seduca pe noul profesor al scolii (Justin Timberlake), un tanar bogat si dragut.
