Dunkirk se afla pe locul 3, adunand 7 nominalizari la Premiile Oscar de anul acesta.
Greta Gerwig este cea de-a 5-a femeie nominalizata la categoria cel mai bun regizor, in istoria de 90 de ani a Premiilor Oscar, dupa Lina Wertmüller (Seven Beauties), Jane Campion (The Piano), Sofia Coppla (Lost in Translation) si Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker), ultima fiind singura femeie regizor care a castigat Premiul Oscar!
