Last Night in Soho este noul film al genialului regizor britanic Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead)!
Descris ca un thriller psihologic, Last Night in Soho este scris de Wright alaturi de Krysty Wilson-Cairns, cea care s-a ocupat de scenariul ultimului sezon din Penny Dreadful si cel al noului film regizat de Sam Mendes, 1917. Desi nu se cunosc detalii despre povestea lui, Wright a declarat ca acesta este inspirat din Don’t Look Now si Repulsion, exprimandu-si dorinta sa faca un film despre centrul Londrei:
“I realized I had never made a film about central London — specifically Soho, somewhere I’ve spent a huge amount of time in the last 25 years. With Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead you make movies about places you’ve lived in. This movie is about the London I’ve existed in.”
Anya Taylor-Joy (Split, The Witch) va juca rolul principal, alaturi de Matt Smith (The Crown) si Thomasin McKenzie (Leave No Trace). Last Night in Soho reprezinta prima colaborare dintre Edgar Wright si scenograful Chung-hoon Chung, celebru pentru filmele Oldboy, Stoker si The Handmaiden ale lui Park Chan-wook, dar si pentru horror-ul IT al lui Andy Muschietti. La ultimele sale trei filme, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, The World’s End si Baby Driver, Wright a lucrat impreuna cu Bill Pope.
