Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) va juca rolul principal in The Switch, o noua dramedie bazata pe romanul cu acelasi nume scris de Beth O’Leary.
Produs de Amblin Partners, filmul spune povestea unei tinere de profesie consultant, in varsta de de 29 de ani, care face schimb de vieti (inclusiv de telefoane mobile) cu bunica ei de 79 de ani, pentru doua luni, in urma unor probleme personale. Tanara se muta asadar intr-un sat din Yorkshire, ocupandu-se de plimbarea unor catei sau avand grija de cartier, in timp ce bunica ei ajunge intr-un apartament minuscul din Londra, unde incearca aplicatii de intalniri si pune bazele unui club social pentru locuitorii singuratici ai capitalei.
Bekka Bowling (Lovesick) va adapta romanul care a aparut luna trecuta in Marea Britanie; Kristie Macosko Krieger (The Post) va produce filmul, alaturi de Beth O’Leary si Rachel Brosnahan in calitate de producatori executivi.
