Actrita Maggie Grace va relua rolul lui Kim Mills in continuarea filmului Taken, care nu are titlu momentan.
Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3) va regiza sequel-ul, bazat pe un scenariu realizat de Luc Besson si Robert Mark Kamen (Taken). Liam Neeson se va intoarce si el pentru continuare, in rolul fostului spion Bryan Mills. Desi povestea noului film nu este cunoscuta inca, daca ambele personaje vor aparea in cesta, nu este exclus ca tanara sa fie rapita din nou. Sau, de ce nu, tatal si fiica sa gaseasca o alta tanara aflata in primejdie.
Productia filmului va incepe la sfarsitul anului 2011 [sau inceputul anului 2012], asa ca premiera va fi abia in 2013!
Taken a fost lansat in ianuarie 2009 si a avut incasari mondiale de 226 milioane de dolari, avand un buget de productie de numai 25 de milioane.
