Dupa Safe, The Five si The Stranger, inca un roman al lui Harlan Coben va fi adaptat de aceeasi echipa pentru Netflix. Stay Close, bestseller-ul New York Times din 2012, face parte din contractul pe 5 ani semnat de Coben cu gigantul serviciu de streaming, prin care 14 dintre operele sale vor fi transformate in drame TV.
Cush Jumbo (The Good Fight), James Nesbitt (The Missing) si Richard Armitage (The Stranger) vor interpreta rolurile principale din noul serial, alaturi de Sarah Parish (Bancroft).
Noua drama de opt episoade are in centru trei personaje ale caror secrete intunecate vor iesi la iveala, amenintandu-le vietile aparent perfecte. Red Production Company va produce Stay Close, alaturi de Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee, Coben si Danny Brocklehurst, care este si scenaristul principal. Cum s-a intamplat si in adaptarile anterioare, actiunea va avea loc in Marea Britanie, in loc de S.U.A.
