Nutcrackers este o noua comedie de sarbatori regizata de David Gordon Green, cel care s-a ocupat mai mult de filme horror in ultima vreme (trilogia Halloween si The Exorcist: Believer).
Ben Stiller revine pe marele ecran in rolul lui Mike, un barbat serios si obsedat de munca care devine brusc tutorele celor patru nepoti nebunatici ai sai, care locuiesc in zona rurala a statului Ohio, dupa ce acestia devin orfani. Cei patru copii sunt tinterpretati de fratii Homer, 13, Ulysses, 11, Atlas, 8 si Arlo Janson, 8, care isi fac debutul in lungmetraj. Linda Cardellini, Edi Patterson, Tim Heidecker si Toby Huss joaca de asemenea in film.
“I wanted to make a movie without viciousness or cynicism or expectation. It was a production experience that evolved with the sunrise and sunset of the farm and the ideas and attitudes of our kids. The effort was to capture the heart and joy of making a movie among people that we love. It was a film experience that felt like a family as we laughed and cried and faced the unknown adventure together,” a declarat David Gordon Green.
Nutcrackers va debuta pe Hulu pe 29 noiembrie 2024.
