The Awakening este un nou thriller supranatural cu Rebecca Hall, Dominic West si Imelda Staunton in rolurile principale. Filmul este scris si regizat de Nick Murphy.
Filmul, a carui actiune are loc dupa Primul Razboi Mondial – in Anglia anului 1921, spune povestea unei femei sceptice (Rebecca Hall), care merge la un internat de la sat pentru a investiga zvonurile legate de fantomele din acel loc. Desi este sigura ca va demonta aceasta teorie, aceasta va avea parte de o intalnire terifianta, care ii va da peste cap toate convingerile rationale.
